Sometimes, I get upset, and one way I can deal with it is through Art.
I get out a large sheet of paper and some pastels and scribble away my frustration, hurt, and fear onto the page.
I feel better afterwards and more focused.
I’ve heard it’s called Art as therapy.
My Art for this is very aggressive, as I’m trying to overcome the frustration and fear that make me feel lost or paralysed.
In Art of Fear and Anxiety I characterised my fear and anxiety as a black mass inside, making me feel sick. I made it by mixing a load of ink painted and throwing it into the canvas.
